Eclipse season has started! We start off with a penumbral Lunar Eclipse happening in the sign of Gemini, on November 30; at 4:30am EST.

This is a new phase of Eclipses; as the past eclipses happened in the Cancer/Capricorn axis; now we are into the Gemini/Sagittarius axis.

Lunar Eclipses happen when there is a Full Moon aligned closely to the Lunar Nodes;  it’s like a Full Moon but on steroids. This one at 8 degrees of Gemini; exactly on my Midheaven! Eclipses are about turning points, opportunities to heal and release. This particular one in Gemini is also about dealing with 2 different realities in the collective sense.

With Eclipses in general, the degree where it occurs is very important to keep in mind; as when planets transit that degree, events might be activated; up to 6 months or even more. Also, in our natal charts, we can look at the degrees 5 – 11 of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) to see what planets we have in those degrees as they may impact us with this lunar eclipse.

The Sabian symbol for this Lunar Eclipse is “An industrial strike”; this symbol is about protests; also about disruption, uncertainty, and instability; change, restructuring to establish a new order.

The planetary ruler of Gemini, Mercury, will be forming a sextile with Saturn and Jupiter; giving this Full Moon an amazing opportunity for us to plan accordingly for the upcoming shifts; and get organized in all our top priority matters.

There are no major aspects from the Sun/Moon to the planets; but indeed there are some minor ones I want to point out.

The Moon will be forming a sesquisquare with Pluto; which can bring some emotional triggers up to the surface. It will give us an opportunity to acknowledge it while releasing anything that doesn’t serve us.

Also, a quincunx with Venus; bringing some tension in relationships and even insecurities may arise when it comes to our self-worth. Use this to your advantage to release accordingly.

The Sun will also be forming a quincunx; but with Uranus; bringing some nervous tension into this already charged Eclipse; and impulsiveness. It is best to not take action during this time; only focus on release.

Venus opposing Uranus adds to the picture; bringing some tension in relationships and finances; also unpredictability, feeling at a crossroads.

There are 2 Irritation triangles; Sun and Venus along with the Moon and Uranus; which is about the tension seen in relationships and even ourselves. This can bring uncertainty, irritability and not knowing what to do or what to avoid saying; it’s best to just go with the flow and try to avoid unnecessary conflict.

Lots of activity happening behind the scenes that will take quite a while to be exposed; with the Neptune T-square with the Nodes, there’s a lot of misinformation currently happening in the world; weaving of complicated web of illusions; while losing it’s stronghold. Coincidentally, Neptune is stationing Direct right before this Lunar Eclipse.

When it comes to USA’s chart, the Lunar Eclipse will be exactly conjunct USA’s Uranus; which can bring some unexpected news, events, the element of shock as with the past lunations that were aspecting Uranus.

Regarding fixed stars, the Moon will be conjunct Aldebarran; while the Sun will be conjunct Antares.

From Moon conjunct Aldebarran: Favorable for business, honor, and credit, but the danger of calamity. Favorable for domestic, public, and religious matters.

Sun conjunct Antares: Pretended religion, insincere, honor, and riches ending in disgrace and ruin, military preferment, the danger of treachery, violence committed or suffered, fevers and sickness, injuries to the right eye.

Energy is starting to shift right after this Eclipse; with planets moving from Capricorn to Aquarius; a shift in perceptions, I see this Lunar Eclipse as that time to plan and prepare for the major shifts ahead of us. And a reminder to let go of things: control, negative behavior patterns… and to go with the flow when it comes to any challenging events on an individual and collective level.
